I started here at Micron in March of 2003. Before that I work in supervision for a large worldwide Grand Rapids based homecare company. Although both family owned companies I prefer and appreciate the progressive culture and sense of comradely here at Micron. Working in a smaller company also means there is never a dull moment, because the ability to be a cross functional associate is a necessity. I had spent over a year in the Shipping Dept and six months assisting in the various machining centers. In my last assignment I spent 5 years as the Quality Manager, which gave me opportunities and experiences which I believe has made me a better employee.
My main focus here at Micron now is Purchasing / Customer Service. I receive your purchase orders, schedule the jobs and order in material to produce your product in a timely manner. If any issues arise, I am usually the first contact, whether you need to reschedule a delivery or if we need to notify you of any delays.
