I joined Micron in 1978 after serving 3 years in the U.S. Army. What started out as a part-time job while attending electronics school has turned into a 30 year career. My past duties included running production in Secondary Operations and Escomatic Departments, Shipping/Receiving, Order Entry, Purchasing, and Customer Service. These days I spend most of the time working with our Estimating Team and developing our Health, Safety, and Environmental Program. As with any small company, we all wear many hats, so once in a while you might even see me driving the forklift. You might think that spending so many years at one company would get boring … but I’ve had a lot of jobs … it’s just that they’ve all been at the same great company!
