“Never a dull moment” would be an accurate description of life in the front office and I can honestly say my days in the past ten years were never boring! My job description includes being telephone operator and front door gatekeeper, benefit administration, weekly payroll as well as bookkeeper. If you are calling Micron I will most likely be the person to route your question to the right individual, and if we are afforded the honor of making parts for your company I will be sending your invoice and receiving your payment for them. My background has been in the world of retailing, (B.S. from Michigan State University: Retailing - Clothing & Textiles) plus 18 years spent at various positions within department stores, including Buyer for Cosmetics and Accessories, Accounts Payable Clerk and Store Manager. Though manufacturing is certainly very different from the handbag department at Herpolsheimer’s, there are common threads that flow unbroken through them both: the customer always comes first and you can never be satisfied with the status quo in customer service. I love the fact that Micron has always done business mindful of this credo and new and better systems are always in the works.
