The Micron Golf Outing has always been one of the most looked forward to event of the year and 2011 was no exception. We had a fantastic turnout by not only employees but family members and Micron vendors as well. Western Greens in Marne hosted us again this year and did a stellar job as usual. The course was in great shape, the greens rolled true, and the weather couldn't have been better. The seven teams were treated to a shotgun start and 18 holes of good times, good friends, and great memories. The scores ranged from four under up to nine over. There were some great shots along with humbling moments that made for some good entertainment. Micron would like to thank all the people that came out to enjoy the day together and would like to give a special thanks to Western Greens for doing a great job hosting us again. We would also like to give a very special thanks to Michigan General Grinding and Specialty Heat Treating for providing many years of great service and for hanging out with the crew on a Friday afternoon. Thanks everybody and we look forward to 2012 being even better.
